Musée du quai Branly

The Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, is a museum featuring the indigenous art and cultures of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas.

The had an exhibit of contemporary Japanese basket art, with many ingenious and intricate pieces. It was really astonishing to think that these were made by hand. The picture below shows and example.
